Less for More

Funny thing about managing knowledge workers: the less you "manage" them, the better they perform. Its amazing when an organization chartered with implementing knowledge management has a clueless leader who spends his time micromanaging and directing - and spends the rest of his time trying to gain sponsorship for the innovation that his project is supposed to be creating. Any attempts to "enlighten" this guy are ignored. The "beating" goes on.
